Cleaning New Box Type House

Have you tried cleaning up different type of houses?  Have you found cleaning as a difficult task? As for me, cleaning the house has been a normal daily routine just like taking a bath which is part of your daily hygiene activities. Cleaning is a habit in which I used to do every day.

I remember when we transferred here in our house, there was no time for us to rest. After, the house was built, everything inside was in chaos. Dust, dirt and paint smudged were all over the place. We never expected that would be the scenario inside the house.

When cleaning new box type houses, do you think of the complete cleaning tools to make the job much easier?  It is really important to clean up the house before you move in. You may encounter lots of dust coming from the concrete. You must consider the house ready to live in with before you decide to transfer. 

It is hard to remove cement dust and the paint smell. You need time to rest for a while the whole house after the house constructed. I know how it was difficult to clean the house after the construction while you are inside. I will never have the same mistakes again.

Grandma Cleaning the house

I really admire what my grandmother had used to do to inside the house. She made herself busy doing some of the household chores as part of her daily exercise. She never let herself idle or nothing to do for the longest time because she felt weaker and easily get tired. This is one thing that most hardworking person feels when doing nothing the whole day. 

 She loves watering our plants, sweeping the floor and dusting the furnitures. Simple chores, but she is happy doing  it as part of her daily routine.  She loves to make herself busy always. This is one thing I really admire how she molded my mother and other siblings to become more responsible in life. I could see how my mother being molded to become like her.

 Some grandparents at their retiring age do prefer to take care of their grandchildren.  Some would prefer to enjoy life together and traveling around the world.  But for those who have close family ties, families do prefer living near their children's family to spend time with their kids and grandchildren more often. 

 It is really nice to enjoy life and getting old with your family nearby.   Some elders would have experienced common health issues like muscle pains and back pains, especially when cleaning the house.  Even though there are machines that can make cleaning bit easier, but some would prefer using manual cleaning.

Repainting and Cleaning

It has been two years now since we have not done any renovations or repainting in the house especially my kitchen area. I feel so boring on the same color and design of my kitchen every day. Everything in the house was fixed on the constructor’s building designs. We bought the house in the subdivision with the same designs and colors. It finds me boring having the same design with others. Some were immediately renovated their house before moving in but for us it took to us years to decide considering that we need money for the renovation to be done.

 So, recently wife and I agreed to create the kitchen looks new again. Creating our place different than the others is very challenging, especially that the materials are expensive. The idea was great, but of course we must be ready financially as well. 

My wife and I have already done the renovation planning for almost a week. We both agreed on what color to paint and the renovations to make for our kitchen area. And this time I make sure to supervise the repainting and the work to be done inside the house.   Then we start by repainting some part of the house just early today to avoid delay from our plan. We started repainting the area in which no renovations to be done just the repainting job only. 

Yesterday, I went to hardware until I purchased all the materials needed for today. I bought some concrete paints to make sure that we will immediately start the repainting on time. Repainting the house is the best way that we can have ample time to each other and have a bonding time for such activity for the whole family.  It is very rewarding to see that all of my family members are enjoying the repainting the wall.  It is important to have complete tools  and material for when painting before you start the work.

Moving Out

It has been two years now since we transferred from one place to another for good.  We never expect to transfer from Cebu City to Lapu Lapu City to acquire a house in one of a.  We tried to establish in the place as we took one step at a time. After a year of staying in the place, we had established friends and a small business. Everything goes well here in the place, but we had to give up everything soon again. Another venture came out to us in which this time we will settle and establish for good.

There are many things we consider why we had to come up of giving up the house again and pursue on transferring to Tagum City, Davao.  We figured out up to venture in this place as strategic place and growing city. As of this time, the place is fast growing for more businesses; malls and tourist spots are fast developing.

Now, we are busy processing the requirements for the house in Tagum City. We are also busy packing our things up and ready for the cargo shipping to transport our stuff to our destination.   Cleaning the house we are going to leave is another part of the preparation.  We need to make sure that before we trade the house, it is clean and presentable for the next owner.  We are hoping that everything will be smooth and go according to plan.  But we will surely miss the life we have in Lapu-Lapu City as we have stayed in this place for almost two years.  

Have many closest friends to remember, especially our neighbors.  I will surely miss my godson Dodong John Liam and his big sister Jhandee.  Life will go on. All we need is to pray for God guidance in our next stage of our life as he guide us through everything we do.
