3rd Mindanao Bloggers Summit

I couldn't exchange the happiness I got today into something more valuable on my birthday as a present. For the first time Hubby and I attended the 3rd Mindanao Bloggers Summit and Philippine Blog Awards Mindanao hosted by the CDObloggers here in Cagayan de Oro City at Pearlmont Hotel headed by Ms. Chiq Montes. Being part of CDObloggers, I never regret having such a wonderful experience in which I could use it to become effective blogger. Aside from the 2 freebies I received from the raffles given by the sponsors, I also got more informations about blogging shared by Ms. Aileen Apolo, blog advertising by Ms. Janette Toral and making money online by Lyle Santos. During the summit, we were not just listeners but also we were given the chance to meet, promote and share experiences to our fellow bloggers coming from different places all over Philippines. What a birthday gift! Thank God for the success of the said event.

It's my birthday today- 3rd Mindanao Bloggers Summit

I thank God for giving me another year to celebrate my natal day. As part of my celebration, I chose to attend the 3rd Mindanao Bloggers Summit here in Pearlmont Hotel. I will be posting more updates later about the event.

Life is unpredictable - can be taken anytime

Last October 4, 2009, we were shocked when an accident happened that causes my uncle's death. Life is so unpredictable, death can happen anywhere at anytime out of your watch. No one could ever tell that life can be taken anytime soon unless you are terminally ill.

Uncle Ed P. Dadulo used to work as the head-security-guard at the Divine Mercy Hills, El Salvador, Misamis Oriental. October 4, 2009 at 3:30pm, Uncle ride his motorcycle from Tan's Beach, along his way home at Purok 2, Tambaling, El Salvador, Misamis Oriental, he was accidentally hit by Super 5 (a public bus) and instantly died. At the of 45, we never expect him died at that early age.

With me here in the picture, Uncle Ed's wife and daughter (Auntie Nora and Jen-jen), and the 2 left among the 7 Dadulo's siblings, Uncle Nelson and Auntie Virgie. We loved and missed you Uncle Ed.

Cake Decorating Practise

For these past days, mother-in-law and I were busy baking cakes. The other day, I baked chocolate moist and buko pie. This morning, I helped mother-in-law baked chiffon cake with icing and puto cheese. For the first time, all by herself she tried decorating a cake with icing, although the decoration was not perfectly done but at least she tried all her best.

End of Ramadan - Beach Break

We decided to take our breakfast to beach this morning and enjoy today's' holiday because it is the end of RAMADAN or EID UL-FITR. We grilled fish which we bought from the fishermen who sold fish along the shore after catching it. We enjoyed our day at the beach.

Milo little Olympics 2009 - Media Photo Contest Award

This morning after church we went to Limketkai Mall to attend the awarding of the best players of Milo Little Olympics 2009 happened last September 11- 13, 2009. The winners of the event will compete the National Milo Little Olympics 2009 this coming October in Cebu City. During the event, aside from sports competition, a photo contest was being open to media members. I am so proud to my hubby for doing his best and in return to that he received the 1st Runner Up Award of Media Photo Contest. It is his first time to join the contest and he never expect to get the higher award. Praise he did it!!

I’ve heard about the most awaited event to all bloggers around Mindanao the 3rd Mindanao Bloggers Summit which will be held here in Cagayan de Oro City on the 24th of October 2009. Grand Opening of CITI HARDWARE - Bulua

Tonight, we were invited to the grand opening of Citi Hardware- Bulua branch and many came to attend and see the place. During the event, lots of food was being served, a band entertained the guests and also giving of some prices that made everybody so alive.
