My Greatest Valentine Gift

At last my long-time suffering on fixing our computer has finally ended. Heheheh.. This week, hubby decided to buy me a new computer set as a valentine gift. Its a good idea to buy new computer for me to have much time doing the household chores. Spending more time troubleshooting the computer's problem is not healthy, because it can consume most of my time and leaving me headache as well. I am back... blogging here i come... go go go go..

Moving to New House

For these past days, hubby and I were busy packing our things ready for transfer to a new place. Just yesterday afternoon we moved out .

Today, we spend the whole day cleaning the new house and partly unpacking things. It's a long week for me ahead to finish everything in our house.

It is a great day that the Lord has made!!

As I wake up this morning. All I did is just praising God for His marvelous works done in to my life for these past days. I am not physically and emotionally stable but I never stop praising His name for I know He is the source of my strength. By praising God at all times, what happens in the natural with rain, will be the same spiritually over your lives; a cloud can only hold so much condensation, so many vapors, before it releases.
In the Bible, David the psalmist said, “I will keep on hoping for You to help me. I will praise You more and more.”
And when we decide to give God praise, something powerful and supernatural happens. Peace, joy and divine favor begin to rain down over our lives. “God is good all the time,” that cloud can only hold so much before the blessings come bursting back down. When you stay full of praise, God’s blessing will begin raining down, making sure that you are always in blossom; causing you to bloom where you’re currently planted, even if you’re in a dry spell!

God is working on our behalf

Recently, Philippine government has been facing a chaotic situation against the rebels particularly Mindanao. The government has decided to sign for an agreement to established good relationship with the Muslim Government and to maintain peace and order. But I guess that decision failed both expectations, when the the rebels threatened and killing many innocent people after the Supreme Court ordered for a restraining order of the said agreement for thorough study.

Just this morning, I received a message from my mother-in law informing us that their town has been harassed by the rebels by planting bombs anywhere. Sunday afternoon while they went out, a bomb exploded near the place they went through. Luckily, their town after the incident has been controlled by the military and maintained the peace and order.

We can never tell when or what time thus the terrorists has to make their move to threaten the people. Still it’s very alarming to us especially some of our relatives and friends are living near in the affected towns. The rebels killed many innocent people, taking them as their hostage, burning houses and salvage both military and civilians. We never expect this to happen after the said peace talk has to be done.

In spite of our worries, God is working behind the scenes in our lives, today. No matter what we may be facing, no matter what tragedy we may be going through, God has a plan to turn things around in our favor.

You may not see it in the natural, but look with your eyes of faith today. Keep standing. Keep believing. Keep hoping. Keep following His Word. Focus on His goodness in your life, knowing that He is the God of order and peace. He will never let His people perish and have no hope. Just meditate on His faithfulness and He will show us His love. He will let us experience His peace, joy and will live in victory all the days of our lives.

The love of God that binds us together

Its midnight now and just finished fixing my old computer. I had a very long and exhausted day but still I felt no sleepy. I thank God for the strength.

Today is our 7th months of marriage. I praise God for His sustaining grace and love that binds us all throughout the adjustment period as married. Sometimes we find difficulties on dealing with our differences and pride. Thank God for using people to help us ponder to become more mature and sensitive with each other’s feelings.

This morning I read an article that says, “Despite the faults that spouses have, their marriage still can thrive; but both must look to God for help- He’ll keep their love alive.”
If you think it’s possible to love your wife/husband too much, you probably haven’t loved him/her enough. In Ephesians 5:25 says,” Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.” God tells us about loving our partners in not only the husbands to love their wives but the wives will do the same as well.

Family Day

After long days of doing your stressful routine works make sure to have time to relax. Spending time together with family outside your usual place is conducive to relaxation and best way to maintain each other’s relationship close.

Last weekend, my hubby and I decided to spend time in an amusement park with my younger brother. Many people where having fun with their families, to relax and enjoy the park’s recreational rides, arcade games, shooting galleries, horror houses and many more.

First time we tried the Octopus ride and I almost throw up. I am amazed at my 8 year old brother’s bravery upon riding the Octopus ride without seeing in his face a single fear, in fact, he was enjoying it. I guess younger ones are more aggressive to have an exciting experience and it’s shameful to my part having me older than him afraid of riding such rides.

By choosing to have quality time with family, in such a way you are building an intimate relationship and bridging the gap in between. Close-knitted family is founded with happiness, care, understanding and love. The most important thing we all do is to let God take control over our lives for He knows what’s best for our family.

Cast your Cares

For how many days now i felt so down, i am worried of so many things about myself, my family and even thinking of what's going to happen the next day or so. I am physically, mentally and emotionally weak recently, and I couldn't even think of doing something better or doing my household chores. I think I am killing myself for nothing. Deep inside,I am battling with my emotions.

As i woke up this morning, i said to myself, God has something good for me today. I read a message from the Bible found in 1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."

God cares so much about you not only today but always. Not only does He love and care about you, He cares about the things that concern you as well. If you have concerns, worry or anxiety about something in your life today; finances, relationships, your job or anything else, know that your Heavenly Father already has a plan to take care of those things for you. The scripture reminds us that the lilies of the field and the birds of the air are cared for, how much more will your Heavenly Father take care of you? Refuse to dwell on your problems and don’t allow them to steal your peace and joy any longer. As you cast your cares on Him, you’ll experience His peace and joy, and you will live the life of blessing He has in store for you.
