Here in the Philippines almost everyone is family oriented.   They prefer to stay together, even though they are of legal age.   This is the reason family here in Philippines prefer to have an outdoor kitchen if they could.   They love to cook outside the house during family day.  Bonding with family is really important, especially during special occasions like birthday, anniversary and wedding.   Installing an outdoor kitchen  is really important if you have a big family.   There are many outdoor kitchen designs you can choose in the net.  Family here loves to cook a lot of special occasions.  Eating while updating each other, life success.

A Beautiful Dinner

For the past days hubby and I were busy from work. It is been a while since I prepared something for our dinner. I am thinking of rewarding ourselves from having a stressful week. We watch movies and preparing pasta and salad for dinner. A great movie and seeing my family with a happy smile thanking you for having a great dinner is very rewarding to me. I praise God for my family and for the blessings.

Yesterday, we recognized all grandparents in church. More people have forgotten the importance of their grandparents. We should not forget how important they are because without them our parents will not also exist. Our grandparents has shorter years more to live in this world and sooner they will return to our creator. We must give our best to our grandparents so that they will also feel they are loved.

Family Day

It is sunday once again and the usual thing I do is to cook something special for my family for our lunch. From church,we usually go out and have some Malling or anywhere we wanted to go as long as we all out together for a day of bonding.

Today, I decided to prepare hubby's and Paolo's favorite viands for lunch. I prepare "CRABS" and my "Special Kinilaw"

Timoga Spring Pool, Iligan City

After long days of work, we decided to spend time to relax and enjoy the icy-cold and crystal-clear water that flows naturally at Timoga Spring Pool. Timoga spring has different sizes of pool which makes everybody enjoys their stay at the place. The resort is located along the highway and it is very accessible by land to all locals and tourists visited Iligan City. Everyday, many people from other places just come to experience Iligan’s one Proudest Tourist destination, Timoga Spring Pool.

Davao's Durian Fruit

My Brother-in-law and Sister just arrived from Davao. They brought us the Stinky Smell Davao’s proudest fruit “Durian”. The Davao region has been known as the durian capital of the Philippines. According to Sun Star Davao, the region produces at least 16 varieties of durian, eleven of which are registered with the National Seed and Industry Coucil.
Durian Fruit is Famous for its odor. People’s opinion about the quality of the fruit is quite opposite. Most people especially the foreigners are commented that, “they can stand on the taste of durian fruit but not the smell. It smells like hell but it tastes like heaven.”
Durian fruit is becoming more expensive. August to October is known as the season months of durian fruit. Hopefully we could visit Davao again during the seasons.
