Everyday we must declare that we are filled His with power, strength, justice and wisdom as we face the challenges before us.

This is our declaration!!! And we believe, receive and declare it because Jesus has equipped us to overcome in every area of our lives.

My First Car Crash

During my last years in college, life was so hectic preparing for projects, thesis and examinations. Being able to spend in five years to college, it gives me lesser subjects in my last remaining year. After finishing college, my father had decided to bring me to his province and meet my half brother.

In my father’s province, my brother gave me a car as a present for my graduation. He then let me took a driving lesson but I only got it for a day. What is life to you? Well in my younger years, life is not that good or I can say not happy. Having a broken family is really hard. I had been wondering why has to be me to suffer and experience such cruelty that life has. I guess, God knows why.

I’ve been thinking if bad things never happen to humanity, life would be perfect. Life has no challenges, no more tears to shed and sufferings by human to carry on. No more fighting, jealousy, anger, greediness, killings and more. Imagine a child who has never seen and experience bad things. Life would be better if we live in harmonious ways.

Some people would just say that life is like a wheel that sometimes it spins you on top and sometimes on below . Life is never be the same. It spins on the way that God wanted you to have. It goes down and up for a better purpose. But sometimes I would think that life is not fair. But only God knows the answer on question that life has. The question is that have you tried to know God?

Preparing for the Incoming School Year

These days, there are a lot of courses which the youngsters can choose from. But for the past few years, nursing students were dominant in every universities and colleges in the Philippines. Every time you enter a university, you will only see three types of clothing the students use: it is either PE uniforms; casual clothes, or; nursing uniforms and scrubs.

This summer, I accompanied my nephew to enroll to a university. There are a lot of smiling students and parents who are excited to their child’s new chapter of life. I also saw medical students who went to get their new uniforms from various medical uniform stores in the city. I am happy that today’s generation is still eager to improve the world we live in today. There are still a lot of students who are eager to help their family and the society we live in.

But my attention was caught by those medical students. Since we arrived here in Cebu for almost a month now, we haven't tried out eating at Cas Verde in which we could find some giant dishes and delicious as well.
